We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our claims department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance claims, risk management, and claims handling, with a proven track record of leading a team towards success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the claims department to ensure effective claims services.
  • Review and analyze claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve productivity and quality of claims processing.
  • Assist in the development and execution of training programs for claims staff.
  • Manage and resolve complex or problematic claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to identify trends and implement strategies to reduce risk and improve claims outcomes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and present reports on claims activities to senior management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a claims management role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in insurance claims, claims handling, risk management, and ClaimsPro.
  • A deep understanding of the principles and practices related to claims management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving its goals.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, management, and customers.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field. A professional certification in claims management or insurance is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
