Job Title: Direct Support Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Support Supervisor to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a Direct Support Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our Direct Support Professionals, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Direct Support Employees, ensuring that they meet the needs of our residents. This includes managing residential homes/facilities, resolving employee issues, and conducting performance reviews. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Direct Support Employees
  • Manage residential homes/facilities as assigned
  • Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews
  • Ensure employees meet training requirements and attend required events
  • Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation
  • Monitor and provide feedback to employees in interactions and relationships with the people supported
  • Ensure that people supported have a clean and maintained home and yard
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required, Associate Degree in a health-related area; or two years' experience in a health-related field preferred
  • One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities
  • Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license
