Claims Supervisor Job Description

At Jobot, we're seeking a seasoned Claims Supervisor to lead our claims department. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate and efficient claims processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate claims department activities to deliver exceptional claims services.
  • Review and analyze claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity and quality of claims processing.
  • Assist in training programs for claims staff and manage complex or problematic claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and risk management departments to identify trends and implement strategies to reduce risk and improve claims outcomes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and present reports on claims activities to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in claims management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in insurance claims, claims handling, risk management, and ClaimsPro.
  • Deep understanding of claims management principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field. Professional certification in claims management or insurance is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and integrity with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
