The Commercial Credit Processor supports and promotes a top tier credit culture by sitting at the center of sales, underwriting, and portfolio management.


A successful Commercial Credit Processor must be organized, detail-oriented, motivated, and comfortable communicating with a variety of internal stakeholders. The job requires balancing the need for urgency, but not at the expense of accuracy which is foundational to this role.


More specifically, the Commercial Credit Processor will be responsible for:


  • Obtaining UCC searches, credit reports, background reports on new and existing commercial clients
  • Filing UCCs, terminating UCCs, and monitoring UCC renewals
  • Reviewing new client underwriting files for completion and accuracy
  • Preparing and issuing client contracts and paperwork
  • Monitoring client and debtor credit limits and flagging overages for Portfolio Manager review
  • Gathering documentation for client credit line increases
  • Managing and updating ongoing debtor monitoring systems
  • Preparing and processing CIP (Customer Identification Program) documentation for compliance
  • Assisting Portfolio Manager and leadership with internal and external audits


Qualifications

  • Two years of work experience (preferably in an Administrative, Analyst, or Operations role)
  • Loan or document processing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Comfortable adapting to new computer systems and software
  • Ability to thrive when managing a high volume of internal requests in tight time constraints
