Job Overview:
A Manufacturing Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery, and processes in a manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with other engineers, maintenance technicians, and production staff to ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

- Design and Development:

- Develop and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs and HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications.
- Installation and Commissioning:

- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform regular maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on control systems and automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, IEC).
Working Conditions:
- Primarily based in a manufacturing facility.
- May require occasional travel to other sites or vendors.
