Our client is looking for an onsite Desktop Support Analyst to join their growing Information Technology team. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your primary duties include provisioning equipment, account management, asset assignment, and the off-boarding process to name a few, while complying with given standards and guidelines. The Desktop Support Analyst will also work special projects as directed by IT management. You will also have the ability to analyze existing systems and make proactive recommendations for improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provisioning, maintaining, packing, shipping, and setup of IT Equipment
  • Account Creations and System Setups.
  • Testing and re-imaging of all company PCs and Laptops
  • Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
  • Peripheral setup & support such as printers, scanners, etc.
  • Updating asset status within asset system.
  • Maintaining laptop images and software packages.
  • Provides end user training where required.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years advanced computer hardware experience.
  • Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Desktop Imaging.
  • Ability and willingness to work in an environment providing 24x7x365 support
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and applications in a domain environment, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suites.
  • Experience with troubleshooting IT hardware, including workstations, monitors, printers, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Professional customer service skills, including VIP support
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of business professional behaviors including punctuality, attendance, responsiveness and dependability
  • Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Deadlines
  • Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team
  • Must have reliable transportation

Helpful to have:

  • Experience working with Samanage by SolarWinds ticking system.
  • Microsoft Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
  • Working with and supporting iGel thin clients.
  • Experience Manage Engine to providing remote assistance.
  • Office 365 administration

Language Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical reports, and documentation
