Day to Day:

A client in the Long Beach, CA area is looking for a Fuel Analyst to join their team. This person will be tasked with performing the accounting tasks related to all aspects of the fuel inventory in the company. This will involve preparing journal entries, reconciling any fuel related accounts, and general financial reporting. Other duties as assigned include preparing transportation bills and reports, balance sheet reconciliation, serving as SME for fuel inventory, and ensuring all business processes are executed as planned.


Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting OR three years in analytics
  • 2+ years general ledger accounting
  • Balance sheet reconciliation experience
  • Working knowledge of inventory analytics


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retail experience
  • experience in the petroleum industry
