What’s a typical day as a Site Coordinator? You’ll be:

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating activities at a school site to deliver needed services to at-risk youth.

• Working closely with school staff, community organizations, parents/families, and students to ensure coordination of services for the benefit of the students and their families.

• Managing and assigning student caseloads.

• Providing assessment of needs and developing action plans for students.

• Monitoring student progress through regular contact.

• Providing needed services or referring to team members or community organizations.

• Ensuring project goals and objectives are met or exceeded.

• Evaluating program operations and implementing activities to assist students.

• Acting as a liaison between the project team and the school principal.

• Informing the Immediate Supervisor of progress and problems at the school site.

• Supervising staff from other agencies as well as assigned staff.

• Conducting staff meetings and participating in campus program case managers meetings.

• Conducting or arranging for needed staff training.

• Evaluating performance of campus staff.

• Completing required monthly activity reports.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, education, psychology, criminal justice, or related fields from an accredited four-year college or university with coursework in case management OR an Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience in social and/or human services or work with social service agencies or communities that provide services to families or at-risk populations.

• Have prior experience that allows you to effectively communicate with students who are at risk of dropping out of school.

• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Have a desire to work with at-risk youth.

• Have the ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures, establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, communicate effectively orally and in writing, and use group process skills.
