The Engagement and Programming Coordinator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the workplace culture and professional development of the staff. Working closely with the Director of Communications, members of the IT Leadership Team, and other ITS staff, you'll be responsible for planning and executing social events, professional development activities, and other engaging programming. This role will also take the lead in organizing and guiding the ITS Staff Programming Committee to ensure a diverse and enriching experience for all members of Team ITS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of social and professional events for ITS staff, including but not limited to workshops, seminars, and team-building activities.
  • Lead the ITS Staff Programming Committee, fostering collaboration and innovation in event planning and execution.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive calendar of events and programming that aligns with ITS strategic goals and staff development needs.
  • Collaborate as needed with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event planning and execution.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of events and programming, utilizing feedback to continuously improve engagement strategies.
  • Manage resources effectively to deliver high-quality events and programming.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably within a corporate or technology-focused environment.
  • Familiarity and experience working and engaging with global and/or hybrid teams is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for fostering positive relationships across diverse groups.
