Due to exceptional performance and market presence, Hamlyn Williams is looking for a sales focused Business Leader of Financial Services Contract Recruitment in New York City. This role will be onsite 4 days a week.


The Role:

As our US business grows, we are looking for leaders to come in and help scale our Contracts/Temp recruitment team which has produced the highest gross profit across our business. You will be an integral part of our journey acting as both a recruitment team lead and strategic leader for the larger Financial Service division. HW operates in a 360/Full Desk Recruitment Model, and this individual will be responsible for Business Development efforts, Account Management, and Recruitment Strategy.


What you bring to the table:

  • Experience within the Financial Services recruiting space ideally but not limited to compliance, FCC, Corporate Governance, etc.
  • Experience managing high performing teams and leaders
  • Years working a 360/full-desk model (both sales/account management & recruiting) or just as a Business Development Executive within the Contract/Temporary recruitment
  • Success growing and managing multiple client relationships & accounts
  • Proven track record in developing your own business and billings within a niche (client or candidate short) vertical discipline
  • Desire to grow a function to large scale while managing and developing recruitment consultants and future leaders
  • Positive attitude and an engaging business-like approach


A snapshot of the role:

  • Support and lead the build out of a team of specialized FS contracts recruiters, being a recruiting business partner and subject matter expert
  • Be responsible for full desk recruitment for our contract positions, increase sales and market share through assigned and newly generated accounts, sourcing and identifying talent with requisite skill sets
  • Contact and meet with prospective customers to establish customer needs, culture, projects, hiring cycles, and build a strong influential customer relationship
  • Offer recommendations and educate clients and candidates of current talent market conditions
  • Manage contractor finish dates and build redeployment plans
  • Allocate your sales and recruiting team to current open positions, proactive searches and set sales/recruiting KPI’s
  • Work closely with the Director of Contracts and Business Leader of FS Perm to build out operations and strategy for organization
  • Mentor, coach and develop a high-performing recruiting team
  • Assist in achieving weekly placement goals.
