Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including design, permitting, construction, and inspection.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and costs are controlled.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to clients and senior management.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and submit detailed project reports, including financial summaries, performance metrics, and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
