SUMMARY
This individual is an experienced Estimator with a thorough understanding of HVAC ductwork and equipment related to commercial and industrial projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; express excellent communication skills; demonstrate strong initiative; and ability to work in both a team and individual environment. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
• Has the technical expertise with on-screen takeoffs and prepare estimates using Quickpen software and Microsoft Office products
• Contact equipment venders and subcontractors for pricing.
• Verify that the equipment & subcontractor quotes that we receive is per the specifications
• Enter ductwork, Quickpen reports and equipment pricing on the bid template.
• Attend Pre-bid meetings if needed
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Thorough understanding of current Mechanical Code
• Multiple years of experience in estimating is preferred
