Job Description Summary

The Director, CES Executive Staff is a key leadership role on the CES executive staff, supporting the President and CEO of Commercial Engines and Services and executive team. This role will focus on ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective communications between the CES CEO and leadership team.
Supports the effectiveness of the "team in the center" working with the Product Line leadership.
Priorities, Rhythms and Standard work for the team along with leading key projects and coordinating critical needs and efforts.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • CEO Priorities, Rhythms, and Standard Work (Lead)-Maximize CEO and leadership team efficiency and effectiveness by: (i) supporting priority setting, (ii) aligning daily, weekly, monthly and annual rhythms to support priorities, (iii) developing standard work for these recurring forums, (iv) reducing organization friction pain points.
  • Support CES Strategy & Living Business Plans-Support multi-phased efforts to achieved optimal business performance tied to strategy development, living business plans and capital allocation processes.
  • Interactions with Corporate Team (Lead)-Quarterback Aerospace and GE corporate requests and establish standard work for responding to inquiries from the corporate team (i.e. board meetings, memos, investor presentations, etc.)
  • Special Projects (Lead)-Lead special projects.
  • Key partner with finance and human resources; works closely across CES staff for overall resource planning, budgeting in support of priorities and strategy.
  • Ensure timely execution of CEO & CES team deliverables.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 10+ years of multidisciplinary experience, i.e. engineering, finance and project management


Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in business administration
  • Aerospace Business and industry domain, strong network across Aerospace business
  • Corporate Audit Staff EAM-level experience
  • Multi-disciplinary background - direct experience in Finance, Engineering
  • Experience connecting across cross functional senior leaders
  • Experience in GEA partnering with external consultants and firms
  • Experience in project management roles - demonstrated strength
  • Experience with senior leader interactions, communications and expectations.
  • Previous (chief of staff like experiences)
  • Broad understanding of CES lifecycle (OE à aftermarket) and functional processes & participants
