About the Sr. Technical Program Manager Role:

Join our client as a Sr. Technical Program Manager on a 3month contract. You will guide a team of software engineers in designing developing and implementing highquality software solutions. This role requires a seniorlevel technical program manager to lead architectural decisions ensure best practices and manage the technical aspects of projects without direct coding. Youll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical and nontechnical teams ensuring that all deliverables meet high standards and align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning design and implementation of software projects ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements timelines and resources.
  • Code Quality Oversight: Oversee the development process to ensure the production of robust performant and secure code.
  • System Improvement: Advocate for and implement software best practices to improve existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Guide the team in resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends and assess their relevance to the project.
  • Agile Leadership: Foster a collaborative and iterative project environment by leading Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in software development with at least 5 years in technical leadership or program management roles.
  • Requirements Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing requirements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Architecture Design Support: Contribute to the planning and design of application architectures especially those validating external API payloads.
  • Development Support: Provide guidance on technical decisions code reviews and best practices.
  • API Expertise: Experience working with and integrating APIs with a strong understanding of API design principles and authentication mechanisms.
  • Security Knowledge: Experience implementing security controls encryption and access management mechanisms.
  • UX Support: Assist in creating seamless user experiences for program candidates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and help prioritize tasks.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define and track KPIs and OKRs to measure product success and inform decisionmaking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Audits: Experience supporting technical audits assessments or certifications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial services and open banking trends.
  • Offshore Collaboration: Experience working with offshore teams.
  • Database Experience: Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and their design patterns.
  • Senior Experience: Expertise in bridging gaps between technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Testing Suite Development: Experience in developing conformance test suites and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Fintech Experience: Experience developing Fintech applications within complex banking infrastructures.
