Summary Statement
The incumbent supervises TASC case managers & supportstaff.The supervisor is responsible forensuring staff provide services promptly & within program guidelines. Theywork closely with the courts, probation & treatment providers. Whennecessary, the supervisor will manage a caseload. The incumbent will train,coach and discipline staff.Supervisorsalso are tasked with developing, monitoring and providing statistics onservices and staff processes.Thesupervisor will ensure that staff performs their duties ethically, withrespect, compassion and accountability.
Essential Functions
Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class. Plans, coordinates, assigns, reviews and assesses unit workflow. Trains, hires, evaluates and supervises staff.Participates in program planning, implementation and coordination to insure that program goals and current operations are in compliance with department and Federal/State rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Gathers and assimilates statistics and information to insure program compliance.
Recommends and implements corrective action as necessary.
Coordinates with social service staff, agencies, providers and resources to provide comprehensive services for care and treatment of clients in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner.
Represents the agency on task forces, committees and with the general public.
Provides information to clients, general public, community representative, and other agencies in order to explain programs and policies.
May plan and develop programs which includes writing grant proposals, completing all state clearing house documents, and implementing new grants when awarded.
Analyzes budget needs, develops recommendations regarding staffing, supply and equipment and may monitor current budgetary expenditures.
Prepares statistical and program evaluation reports.
