Health/Human Service Case Manager Supervisor

About the Role
The Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) is seeking a highly skilled Health/Human Service Case Manager Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of case managers and ensuring that our programs and services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of case managers and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
- Develop and implement program plans and strategies to ensure that our programs and services are meeting the needs of our clients.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure that our programs and services are aligned with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs for case managers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Represent the department on task forces and committees to promote our programs and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure that our programs and services are meeting the needs of our clients.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in case management, including assessing, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating options and services to meet an individual's human service needs.
- Three years of experience in making recommendations as part of a client's service plan, such as clinical treatment, counseling, or determining eligibility for health or human services/benefits.
- Six months of experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Six months of experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data.
- Six months of experience in narrative report writing.
- Coursework, training, and/or work experience in staff supervision, which may include performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others.
