JOB OVERVIEW

The contracts and procurement unit, is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, innovative thinking, results driven, dynamic team player to join our team.Under the direction of the Contract and Procurement Manager, the incumbent manages contract and procurement operations for the department.

This position oversees the procurement of:

Complex acquisition utilizing RFP's, IFB, and limited solicitations, IT procurement requests, Procurement Cards, Contract management, Contract reporting, Market research Special projects and Identifying Federal and State rules and regulations, State procurement statutes, rules, and policies, and to ensure department compliance.

The hourly rate of this position will increase by $1.50 per hour or 4% whichever is greater starting July 1, 2024, in accordance with HB13.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Communication or a closely related field. Two years’ work experience in technical writing, contract administration, research and project management. Four (4) years of related work experience will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
