The Desktop Support Specialist will provide support to the City of Lowell?s various departments through guidance, coordination and follow-up on computing questions, problems or malfunctions of systems, applications, hardware and software installed or maintained by the City, or by 3rd parties. The successful candidate will install, configure, support and troubleshoot hardware, applications, desktop/laptop operating systems, server/network applications, and telecommunication devices as necessary.
