ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Elective Surgery Waitlist Clerk is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Elective Surgery Waiting list and Elective Maternity Caesarean bookings at Werribee Mercy Hospital. Working with the Elective Surgery Manager (ESAM) and the Surgical Access Officer (SAO) he/she will ensure the Elective Surgery Access Policy (ESAP) 2015 guidelines, including scheduling, reporting and timeline requirements, are adhered to by the Health Organisation.

ABOUT YOU:

Elective Surgery waitlist experience ESAP 2015 knowledge Advanced computer applications; including word processing, excel spreadsheets and database Excellent Customer Service Skills Well-developed telephone etiquette & techniques Ability to deal with a high volume of phone calls Ability to deal with people from diverse cultures within the Community
