JOB DUTIES:
As a Workforce Services Supervisor in Lame Deer, you will:
Provide impactful leadership in all aspects of personnel management. Build and maintain relationships with local, region and state team-members, businesses and community partners. Ensure services are well aligned with area business workforce needs by developing and maintaining partnerships. Supervise the administration of a variety of federal and state Job Service functions including monitoring fiscal and client outcome performance of workforce training programs. Establish and maintain high quality standards of employment services and career guidance to workers and job seekers. Provide outcome-based, client specific services to socio-economically diverse populations and cultures, with skill levels ranging from seasoned professionals to those new to the workforce.' Deliver specialized employment services and access to supportive programs for those experiencing barriers to employment. Provide a broad array of customized services to businesses in such areas as worker recruitment & retention, employment law, economic trends and workforce solutions including human resource practices.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:

Leading individuals of varying levels of ability and commitment to achieve team goals and to adapt to ongoing change and growth opportunities and trying to reconcile differences. Communicate information and ideas in a manner that others will understand and that reflect the role of this position as a leader. Management and leadership principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, supervision, performance management, delegation and management techniques, budgetary and organizational methods. Lead and train a multi-program team to achieve and maintain a high-level of productivity. Practices involved in planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership techniques, coordination and management of people and resources. Vocational counseling and negotiating skill to provide services and administrative direction to the diverse programs served. Managing one’s own time and the time of others. Promoting agency services through active participation in public relations and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, DLI central office staff, community partners, and the public and successfully attaining outcomes of importance to the customer.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Your preparation for this opportunity could include a combination of relevant experiences including:
High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of directly related experience. Bachelor’s degree in a field such as: business, human services, education, psychology, human resources, public administration, social work and one year of related experience.OR
Any combination of equivalent experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position will be considered.* Supervisory experience preferred.
