POSITION OVERVIEW:
Accountable for the management and transportation of all products within the facility by executing the following essential duties.

How You Will Contribute to WestRock:
Proficient in the safe and effective operation of both powered industrial and clamp forklifts.

Conduct all necessary forklift inspections and checklists.

Adhere to all safety protocols and actively promote safety initiatives throughout the facility. Assist in the operation of all converting and in-line machinery to guarantee a consistent and accurate supply of work-in-progress (WIP) and packaging materials.

Remove finished products from all converting machines and relocate them to specified storage areas.

Provide raw materials to the Corrugator and Forming machinery.

Examine products to confirm that tags are correctly placed and accurately identify the materials.

Utilize scanning technology to document products and organize finished goods in designated bin locations.

Transport products to the staging area.

Assess truck conditions and ensure safety measures are implemented prior to loading.

Load scrap materials into designated bays or trucks.

Interpret and understand all product load tags.

Minimize product damage through careful and safe handling practices.

Inspect final products to ensure compliance with quality packaging standards.

Ensure all documentation and system entries are completed promptly and accurately.


Accurately weigh and thoroughly complete daily scrap reports, submitting them to the operator or supervisor before the end of the shift.

Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards in line with plant guidelines.

Qualifications for Success:
Experience operating forklifts is advantageous.

Strong communication abilities and excellent coordination skills.
