The office of Minority and Women Owned Business Development is looking for an administrative intern to assist with verifications, review and organize electronic files, maintain and update computer database and assist with special projects.

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:

Reviews electronic file folders to ensure that the files are organized in the manner needed for program efficiency. Organizes the electronic file folders in the appropriate order as needed.

Maintains and updates the Minority and Women Owned Business Development computer database utilizing Salesforce to track, record and retrieve information regarding certified minority, women and disadvantaged businesses.

Assists in processing documents during the Annual Update and Triennial Review period. This includes reviewing documents for accuracy and continued compliance with program eligibility and updating the computer database

Scans paper applications to create electronic file folders in the Minority and Women Business filing folder. Add New Applications to the Excel tracking log and send receipt of Application via email

Intern Qualifications:

Work in an office environment. Knowledge of computer software programs

Intern Preferred Qualifications:

College courses or demonstrated work experience in marketing, journalism or business management
