Job Duties

:

o Complete assessment and identification of nutritional needs of eligible clients.

o o Process nutrition supplements as prescribed by providers or dieticians

o Ensure client outcomes are maintained based on an established level of quality and at a cost compatible with the resources of the organization

o Ensure accurate documentation in clients Electronic Medical Record and CAREWare

o Develop, oversee and teach wellness courses

o Oversee and maintain nutrition program including totes and food closet

o Oversee nutrition staff and interns

Minimum Hiring Standards:

o o Knowledge of HIPAA and ability to implement privacy and confidentiality practices.

o Ability to work independently and outside typical work hours as needed

o o Ability to adapt to any changes in federal and state grant requirements.

o Experience with HIV/AIDS population

o Ability to meet specific deadlines and coordinate multiple tasks

o EPIC/EMR experience

o 5+ years clinical dietician experience

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements:

Registered as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

This is a restricted position with no set end date; continued employment is dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance.
