Provides technical support to NAS facilities to assist NAS personnel in the restoration of facilities through direct support remotely or on-site.
Provides support for the analysis of problems and the implementation of measures to restore an asset to operational status and implementation and verification of modifications.
Coordinates work related to NAS outages or loss of service and provides support for administrative and reporting functions related to restoration.
Facilitates status meetings with system stakeholders and international telecommunication services.Performs analysis, design, test and implementation of software modifications to NAS systems including site adaptation. Conducts engineering studies for enhancements, operational problems, proof of concept, feasibility, operational impacts, implementation, or alternatives analysis. Conducts verification and validation activities to ensure modifications requirements are unambiguous, correct, complete, consistent, and operationally feasible. Conducts test and evaluation of modifications.
Maintains technical instruction books, maintenance handbooks and user manuals to provide technical direction and guidance. Produces documentation to establish and maintain the product baseline.
