The right person for this position ensures that the Total Rewards experience aligns with the strategy, that projects and related communications are executed according to plan, and that the employee experience and corporate culture are at the forefront of everything we do, supporting and promoting the Total Rewards Mission.

A flexible 9/80 work schedule is available for this hybrid position. While Falls Church, VA would be the ideal location, we are open to considering a remote work option for exceptional candidates. For someone working at the HQ office in Falls Church, this position allows for a hybrid remote work schedule, which is a flexible schedule based on a mix of work days in-office and remote to maximize camaraderie, collaboration, and innovation.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Operate as a member of the Total Rewards Leadership Team;
  • Plan, organize, and lead integrations or harmonization activities related to Total Rewards programs to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget parameters;
  • Lead large scale transformational projects that touch all sectors of the enterprise;
  • Plan, execute, and analyze employee surveys and other feedback mechanisms to assess engagement levels, gather insights, and identify areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and integration of engagement initiatives, and effectively communicate programs to all employees;
  • Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training;
  • Develop and manage communications/engagement strategies for the Total Rewards function that educate employees to understand and value their company-sponsored pay and benefits programs;
  • Evaluate effectiveness of communications campaigns with reporting metrics to improve and evolve internal content and channels;
  • Support the Vice President of Total Rewards with ad-hoc reports, executive level presentations and socialization efforts;
  • Manage/Lead the Total Rewards Engagement team and provide guidance for professional development. Manage workload of assignments to ensure deadlines are met;
  • Lead M&A projects for the Total Rewards COE.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field and 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a large complex environment;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Highly collaborative; able to influence and inspire team members and build broader consensus;
  • Experience in creating Total Rewards communications / engagement strategies and tactics and the delivery of supporting communications materials;
  • Demonstrated effective use of traditional and social media employee engagement channels;
  • Ability to constructively challenge and effectively influence others;
  • Skills to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives and deliver against deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, yet effectively work across functions and organizational layers, including with senior management.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Master's Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience OR in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required;
  • Experience working in an HR environment;
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefit plans or ability to quickly comprehend pertinent details;
  • Project Management certification a strong plus;
  • Experience in the defense and aerospace industry.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $257200

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
