Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Functional Leads to ensure smooth operations within the People Operations function, enhancing the employee lifecycle experience from onboarding to alumni.
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a consistent experience, partnering with employees and managers to support a positive experience.
- Support the general HR function, including policy design and maintenance, benefit support, performance management system support, and training design.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies that align with corporate mission, culture, and organizational strategy.
- Organize and facilitate activities such as employee recognition programs, team-building events, employee surveys, focus groups, and social events.
- Oversee and create communications related to the People Function, including HR-related updates, responses to employee inquiries.
- Support internal communication campaigns to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manage HRIS system, HR files, and related employee records. Maintain and update People Function pages within Evans intranet site, ensuring timely and accurate content.
- Capture and manage people-related data analytics. Assist in tracking, analyzing, and communicating key metrics to inform impactful People Team and Leadership Team decision-making.
- Assist in planning and designing leadership development content while also facilitating the manager learning and development program and forum.
- Support curriculum design for skill-based development opportunities.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) in partnership with the Employee Development lead, including making training courses available, scheduling sessions, tracking, and related analytics.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e., Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development), or additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- HCRI or SHRM certification and human capital/HR experience preferred.
- Passionate about people and customer service oriented with knowledge of principles and procedures for providing excellent customer service.
- Knowledge and understanding of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, development, transition, and alumni).
- Demonstrate critical thinking, active listening, self-starter attitude, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills with a proven ability to create clear, concise, and tactful messages.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, maintain commitments, and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to capture, distribute, and effectively use the knowledge and information learned while analyzing and identifying areas of improvement for accuracy, effectiveness, and/or efficiencies.
- Ability to identify connections and integrate efforts across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Able to facilitate group and team efforts on a wide variety of initiatives while also producing visually engaging graphics and communications materials.
- Experience with Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook), Design tools (e.g., Canva, Venngage, Beautiful AI), Employee polling tools (e.g., Survey Monkey, Mentimeter), and HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity).

Compensation
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package for employees.
