Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for our Professional Standards team (Guy Carpenter). This role is responsible for designing and executing Guy Carpenter's professional standards program, which ensures excellent client service and delivers risk mitigation of the company's reinsurance broking and advisory services.

This role is a hybrid position and requires 3 days in office.

We will count on you to:

  • Execute the global Compliance and Professional Standards monitoring program and support its development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand workflows in current and emerging broking, client servicing, and advisory businesses.
  • Identify key risk moments and design simple and effective mitigation measures to ensure consistently high client service and reduce risk.
  • Describe concise guidance in handbooks, checklists, and communications.
  • Deliver training on compliance, professional standards, and preventing errors and omissions.
  • Establish a network of brokers and support colleagues to exchange best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to address common findings from monitoring reviews and industry practices.
  • Develop concise monitoring reports that provide business leaders with insight into changes to risks, processes, and behavior.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven track record of implementing best practices, setting priorities, directing activities and tracking accountability.
  • Proven track record of developing policy, communications and training on corporate compliance topics.
  • Experience executing and overseeing remote and onsite monitoring reviews.
  • Experience maintaining strong relationships with key business and operations stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to business practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a manager and a team member.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $87,900 to $175,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
