Print Operator

As the Print Operator you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient flow of outgoing mail and shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all logistics operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage documentation and support effective communication within the shipping process.
The impact you'll have:
- Manage outgoing mail, encompassing both UPS and U.S. Postal Service shipments. This involves preparing packages for mailing, generating mailing labels using computer software programs, and monitoring the tracking of shipments.
- Print letters, ensuring accuracy, and separate them as required.
- Operate letter folding machines for mass mailings following printing.
- Monitor and utilize postage meters as necessary.
- Accurately input source documents into designated databases.
- Maintain updated data status through an internal tracking system.
- Offer documentation support, including summarizing, sorting, tallying, and counting.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, scanning documentation as needed.
- Assist in the printing of claims as part of support duties.
What you'll bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years experience with copy/mail room procedures, equipment, and data entry.
- Previous claim processing and /or data entry (alpha & numeric) experience required.
- Able to operate office equipment including, but not limited to, fax machine, copy machine, postage meter, and letter folder machine.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of speed and accuracy.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations and perform repetitive work without losing effectiveness.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have organizational skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure of deadlines.
- Ability to lift and carry various items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to reach, twist, push and pull machinery periodically throughout the day.
- Ability to operate commercial-grade office/shipping equipment.
The expected hourly range for this position is $16.00-$26.00/hour.

SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience.
