The Role

The Marketing Operations Specialist is a pivotal role within our marketing team, responsible for optimizing and executing operational processes, managing our marketing technology stack, and analyzing data to drive insights and improve marketing performance. This role requires a proactive approach, analytical mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical, analytical, and project management skills to support the efficient execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Tech Stack Management: Administer and optimize the use of marketing technologies and tools, including email marketing platforms, and automation tools. Ensure seamless integration and functionality of the marketing tech stack to support campaign execution and lead management processes.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze marketing data from various sources to generate insights on campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in marketing processes and workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Document processes and provide training and support to marketing team members.
  • Project Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing projects and campaigns, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing operations with business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in marketing operations and technology. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance marketing performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and marketing operations.
  • Hands-on experience managing marketing automation tools and CRM systems. Certification in a major platform (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) is a plus.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, a strong take-charge initiative, and a tenacious appetite to learn
  • Hands-on experience managing. campaigns within Google Ads, Linkedin, Salesforce, Pardot (or other marketing automation tools) and others
  • A strong drive to achieve results and own processes end-to-end
  • An understanding of Google Analytics and all digital marketing metrics
  • Positive, can-do attitude, excited to build something, and confident in taking on new challenges to achieve objectives
  • Good with Excel - knows some useful formulas and shortcuts to keep data hygienic
