Remote, Oregon, United States Timescale Full time

As a Senior Manager, Lead Generation and Marketing Operations at Timescale, you will be spearheading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to attract, nurture, and convert potential customers into qualified leads. In this people-management role, you will also be responsible for forecasting and measuring the results of Marketing activities. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker who has experience with both product-led and sales-led growth motions that target technical audiences in a highly technical industry.

Top candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge of taking full ownership and responsibility for effective campaigns that generate qualified leads and trial signups.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Setting the overall strategy, goals, forecasts, and budget for lead generation, nurturing, and scoring in partnership and alignment with Sales goals.
  • Using performance insights and competitive/market analysis to plan and manage the execution of lead-gen and trial signup campaigns that leverage the full scope of marketing programs, including email nurture, landing pages, paid ads, events, and webinars.
  • Analyzing marketing metrics and campaign performance to make data-driven decisions, continually optimizing on CPL and growth.
  • Working with the Content Strategy team to develop content assets.
  • Overseeing the effective use of our marketing tech stack, including Hubspot and Common Room, and using Salesforce for lead management.

This role is remote with an ideal location in the United States, and English language fluency is a requirement.

A little bit about you

You are a self-starter who finds great fulfillment in getting things done—whether it's planning a lead-gen campaign, creating a paid ad to drive trial signups, or developing a new operational process—and seeing the impact of your work. You are not intimidated by a fast-moving and multi-tasking environment but rather revel in the opportunity to move quickly with autonomy. You believe that working as a team can improve your output, you are awesome but humble, and folks look forward to working with you. You're experienced with marketing a technical product to technical audiences and working collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders, developers, and designers.

You also have:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing with a focus on lead generation, nurture, and qualification process. Highly technical product experience is a must; database and/or cloud experience is preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to tie lead-gen activities to overall company goals.
  • Demonstrated success in utilizing HubSpot and Salesforce for marketing automation and lead management.
  • Strong expertise in paid ads, including Google and LinkedIn.
  • The ability to strategize, concept, create, and scale projects with autonomy.
  • An analytical mind with enthusiasm for problem-solving and measuring effectiveness.
  • Expert-level organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.

By applying for this position, you are agreeing to Timescale's Applicant Privacy Notice.
