SEO Specialist

Plan Left, LLC is looking for a SEO Specialist who will be responsible for setting up, optimizing, and regularly reporting on digital advertising campaigns for Plan Left and Plan Left's clients. This position is primarily focused on organic search growth, strategy development for traffic gains, analysis & remediation, and basic website development. In our fast-paced, dynamic environment, Digital Advertising Specialists are key contributors toward the development and implementation of client strategy, tailored to our clients' specific goals and objectives. They establish OKRs and other metrics to ensure we are hitting campaign goals continuously monitor the effectiveness of these programs to ensure we are driving value and ROI. They have a knack for analytics, are results-oriented, and stay curious in their approach. Does this sound like you?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze website properties for remediation of issues affecting SEO
  • Audience and keyword research
  • Dashboard creation, analysis of campaign data and monthly reporting on KPIs, recommendations and strategy monthly
  • Plan, implement, and monitor best-practice SEO strategies by utilizing insights gathered from keyword research, on-page analysis, and technical audits
  • Engage in client meetings and strategy sessions, providing consultative feedback based on subject-matter expertise
  • Actively collaborate with Plan Left's content marketing and design teams to align digital advertising campaigns with other ongoing initiatives
  • Support Plan Left's internal marketing initiatives through development of thought-leadership content, case studies, and management of digital advertising programs
  • Ensure implementation of best practice guidelines and follow company processes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, staying on top of the latest trends in digital advertising and analytics
  • Acquire and maintain technical certifications related to area of expertise
  • Additional responsibilities may be added based on the experience and skillset of the employee in the role

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications (or a related field)
  • Qualified candidates will generally have 3-5 years of hands-on digital advertising experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with search, display and social advertising platforms and tools such as Google Adwords and Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Proficient in data analytics and visualization tools
  • Experience in implementing event-based conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager or similar platforms
  • Proficient in conducting SEO research through tools like SEMRush, Moz, or ScreamingFrog
  • Familiarity with self-serve ad platforms is a plus
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation is preferred but not required
