Job Purpose and Overview

We are seeking an Associate Marketing Operations Partner to join the Appfire Marketing Operations Team. If you are experienced with marketing automation technology and have a passion for building compelling, multi-channel journeys to nurture and engage our app users throughout their lifecycle, we want to hear from you. Our team is working to further develop marketing programs and campaigns within Marketing Cloud to drive key business initiatives and share insights to support our strategic growth efforts.

What you bring: Working as part of Appfire's Marketing Operations team, the Associate Marketing Operations Partner will leverage their understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms to complete campaign production support. You'll help us execute, measure, and optimize the company's marketing strategies and campaigns (emails, webinars, etc.) to achieve its goals.

What You Will Do

  • Work with business stakeholders to deploy marketing campaigns promoting our apps, solutions, webinars, and events. This includes daily building and testing of emails, audiences, journeys and reports in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and webinars in Goldcast
  • Build, test, and support webinars using our webinar platform. This includes building, testing, and monitoring the webinar registration landing page and emails, reporting on webinar registrations and attendance, and providing technical support during the live webinars
  • Support other Marketing Operations team members in testing their emails and webinars. This includes performing email accessibility and render testing across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure that emails are rendering correctly and accessible for the majority of the subscriber base.
  • Execute email A/B tests, communicate and record results, and advise on email performance improvements.
  • Track and measure the performance of the marketing campaigns you deploy on a weekly basis. Use data and your knowledge of marketing best practices to identify what's working and what's not and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in managing our Marketing Operations marketing calendar by keeping it current with your assigned emails and webinars.
  • Assist in creating and updating internal Marketing Operations documentation about our email and webinar processes, templates, designs, etc.
  • In collaboration with our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, provide suggestions to optimize our data extensions for email subscriber audiences and segmentation profiles and data hygiene
  • In collaboration with our Creative team, build and test new email templates and/or optimize existing email templates in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

What We Would Like to See

Key Skills

  • Prior experience using a marketing automation platform is required and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred
  • Prior experience in Marketing campaign production or similar role in which the primary responsibilities were building, testing, and deploying email and webinar marketing campaigns.
  • HTML and CSS coding.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data and insights to make iterative optimizations
    to campaigns and tactics.
  • Detail-oriented and can operate independently on assigned tasks and duties.

Preferred Skills

  • Active in the Salesforce Trailblazer community
  • Knowledge of 1+ of the 6 programming languages in SFMC: AMPScript, SSJS and/or JavaScript, SQL (and Query Studio experience) or Guide Template Language
  • Experience using project management software
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4
  • ​​Experience working in a multinational organization spanning time zones.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (required)
  • Salesforce Email Marketing Specialist certification (desired)
  • Litmus Email certification (desired)
