We're Changing the Rentals Industry

We're a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data SaaS products for the rentals industry. While originally known for building and operating one of the U.S.'s largest rental marketplaces - Rentable, we recently launched a martech product and a competitive intelligence software - ApartmentIQ, both with high growth rates.

We're a 100% remote team of 90 spread across the U.S. from coast to coast. We operate on a strict no a**holes policy, and are proud to have built a community of highly performant people that take our work seriously, but not ourselves.

While we've raised $30MM+ to date from some of the world's best investors, we're profitable with a strong balance sheet and an indefinite runway. We pride ourselves on achieving rapid growth without having to incinerate capital.

If you like the idea of joining an industry-changing company made up of people who genuinely like each other, Rentable could be a great fit for you.

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing ApartmentIQ's social channels including LinkedIn, subsidiary pages, and key leadership accounts to increase brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and generate business opportunities. Additionally, the role will involve coordinating and managing all aspects of our upcoming conferences, customer events, and internal events.

This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing company and contribute to the success of our outreach, event, and LinkedIn marketing strategies.

If you are a motivated self-starter with a passion for LinkedIn marketing, event coordination, and building relationships, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across various channels with a focus on LinkedIn
  • Create and curate compelling content, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories, to share on social media channels
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to engage with our audience and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Use social media analytics tools to track performance metrics, measure ROI, and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person events, including conferences, trade shows, and internal company events
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue research, vendor coordination, budget management, and on-site execution
  • Develop event marketing materials, such as invitations, promotional emails, signage, and presentations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to ensure seamless execution of events and alignment with marketing goals
  • Track and analyze event performance metrics, such as attendance, engagement, and lead generation, and provide post-event reports and insights
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to evaluate effectiveness and optimize strategies for future campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event management and social media management
  • Proven experience in social media management and outreach, particularly on LinkedIn
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for engagement and growth
  • Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution
  • Previous experience in multifamily, real estate, or property management is a plus

Why Rentable:

  • 100% remote workplace
  • Competitive Compensation Package
  • Stock Options
  • Open Vacation Policy (you take vacation whenever you want)
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 100% paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance Program
  • 401k Program
  • No A**hole policy
