About the location:

Assistant Housekeeping Manager- Full Time

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. An Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for the operation and administration of the Housekeeping and Laundry Valet Department in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping providing the highest standards of excellence in product and service and maintains superior stan

dards of cleanliness in both public and staff areas. This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

Key Elements of the Job

  • Assist in recruitment, hiring and training
  • Build department schedules and monitoring labor and productivity
  • Complete inventories and order supplies
  • Inspect both vacant & stay over guest rooms including VIP arrivals for maintenance and cleanliness
  • Inspect public areas and back of house areas for maintenance and cleanliness
  • Conduct daily pre shift meetings and monthly department meetings
  • Be responsible for various studies and projects as it pertains to the department

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Proficient with office tasks, including Windows, and Microsoft Office
  • Versed in phone etiquette and guest interactions
  • Housekeeping Manager experience preferred
