Overview
The Program Evaluation Consultant will provide advisory services focused on program evaluation, project management, and performance management and reporting. The consultant will have the opportunity to support projects to address some of the most significant project challenges facing federal healthcare clients. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or as part of a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business development, client service, and people development.
Responsibilities
  • Develop project and evaluation plans
  • Coordinate with the client and key stakeholders to set timelines and monitor resources
  • Support internal and external communications
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that objectives are met
  • Operationalize, and analyze performance measures and develop summary reports highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations
  • Present evaluation findings and recommendations in a concise manner and facilitate use of findings for decision-making
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field
  • At least one year of experience in program evaluation
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and operationalizing program evaluation with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supporting senior and executive-level client decision-making and proactively anticipating stakeholder needs
  • Experience facilitating group meetings to achieve desired outcomes and achieve consensus, with both internal and client stakeholders
Preferred
Qualifications:
  • Federal consulting experience
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically
  • Strong MS Office skills - emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience visualizing data sets (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to various audiences in a professional business environment
  • Experience analyzing large and complex data sets, including a demonstrated thorough aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as a team member:
    understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback
  • Demonstrated ability identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, developing requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor
  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry and technical matters, and utilizing problem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomes
