Job Summary:The Claim Consultant will be responsible for delivering exceptional results by working independently and as part of a team to provide consulting services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Review claim activity based on industry best practices and assess compliance with best practices for handling Workers' Compensation claims.
- Develop and implement strategies to bring legacy claims to resolution or minimize costs.
- Monitor adjuster activity to ensure strategies are executed effectively.
- Evaluate reserve and settlement exposure.
- Review the appropriateness of legal strategies.
- At least three full years of experience in adjusting Workers' Compensation lost time and litigated claims.
- Strong knowledge of lost-time claims, including high-dollar settlement negotiations, litigation strategy, and MSAs.
