The Role:

Moderna is seeking a Specialist to assist our Clinical Supplies team members for end-to-end supply planning activities. This position works collaboratively across several therapeutic area teams as well as cross functionally to support study needs. This successful candidate will be skilled at fulfilling the needs of our projects with attention to detail and with a collaborative outlook.

Heres What Youll Do: Liaise with Clinical Supply Project Managers and Planners to facilitate logistics as required to support the movement of drug products Provide support to the Planner with CMC, clinical operations, and project management to ensure timing of clinical trial drug needs are met Review and monitor expiration dating for coordination of expiry extension with CMC Monitor inventory within IRT and distribution activities and update forecasting actuals on regular basis Utilize internal forecasting solution to assist in demand planning for various studies Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) of forecasting solution and other clinical supply systems as required Contribute to demand planning cycle within Clinical Development Organization Maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e., Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing) to assure the complete scope of planning activities remains connected with operations and compliant with quality requirements Ensures work is done in compliance to relevant SOPs Heres What Youll Bring to the Table: 1 - 3 years of clinical drug supply management, clinical supply chain, clinical supplies, hospital pharmacy, pharmacy experience or equivalent required Bachelors degree or similar industry experience Creative, capable problem-solver Prior Cold Chain packaging, labeling, distribution experience preferred Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software (MS Office skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) Experience with Clinical Supply Inventory Management and forecasting systems preferred Attention to detail with strong multi-tasking skills Working knowledge of ICH, FDA, IRB/IEC and other applicable regulations/guidelines and demonstrated understanding of clinical research protocol requirements This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Modernas site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work.
