What the day will look like
  • Lead, participate and be responsible for all business activities of the region, including achievement of annually established Key Performance Indicators as our critical metrics.
  • Collaborate with local office leaders, integrated function leaders, and others in developing short- and long-term objectives and implementing strategies to achieve those objectives. Monitor results and work with these groups to resolve causes of under-performance and vital actions where objectives are not being met.
  • Serve as the principal client retention and new business champion, assuring service excellence, including implementation and oversight of client service standard methodologies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues - Aon's Regional Managing Director, Aon Resident Managing Directors, the integrated functions leadership and Finance to develop a financial plan for each office.
  • Actively participate in carrying out the overall construction regional plan and monitor results.
  • Supervise, contain and/or reduce expenses, consistent with prudent management of the business.
  • Establish and foster a culture to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Act as a mentor to more junior team members

    Skills and experience that will lead to success
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
    • 10+ years demonstrated ability leading in a managing director capacity and client-facing role with risk management consulting experience will help you be successful early.
    • Significant experience in sophisticated risk management and insurance service strategies.
    • Uncommonly strong leadership, teamwork and influencing skills are required to excel.

      Pay Transparency Laws:

      The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $350K to $425K annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
