Role Summary:

VDart Inc is seeking a skilled .Net backend engineer to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge optimization application tailored for biogas management.

The POM application is designed to evaluate various supply and demand inputs, determining the most efficient biogas distribution while adhering to specific contractual and physical parameters. This application plays a crucial role in managing a substantial portion of biogas agreements and is user-friendly for both specialists and general users. The architecture includes a frontend, backend, and a model execution service (MES), with this position focusing primarily on backend development. A robust understanding of .Net/C# and database technologies is essential, while familiarity with serialization protocols and cloud solutions will be considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full ownership of the development and testing of various backend components, ensuring accountability and quality.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers, Business Analysts, and testers as part of the broader POM Team.
  • Engage in the analysis, design, and development of business processes and interfaces related to the POM.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing server-side .Net/C# applications is required.
  • Strong knowledge of C# language standards, generic interfaces, and functional programming using LINQ is essential.
  • Experience with multithreaded, high-availability microservice architectures utilizing SQL and No-SQL databases is necessary.
  • A solid emphasis on automated testing and continuous integration/deployment practices is crucial.
  • Effective communication skills are mandatory.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with protobuf and gRPC is a plus.
  • Background in finance, operations research, or grid computing is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Redis is beneficial.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related tools.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
