Responsibilities Responsible for the overall set-up and distribution of all video and audio sources, including simulcast racing
Maintain, install, and troubleshoot cameras, console equipment, broadcast television monitors, video recording devices, video switchers, digital video equipment, graphics generating equipment, distribution amplifiers, frame synchronizers, decoders, and all wiring-related issues
Record and assist in internal production of any videos, live events, and subsequent editing
Always maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment on the property
Leads other team members in project design and completion and schedule all of Southland's simulcast and sports programming
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, college or technical school degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a television broadcast or distribution environment preferred
Operation of satellite receiving, broadcasting, and distribution systems preferred
Experience with network distribution of video and audio signal systems preferred
Knowledge of computer systems and software
Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable licenses needed for the State of Arkansas Racing Commission
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment
Must be able to see in color to troubleshoot graphics
Must be able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
