Job Summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Installation Specialist to join our team. As an AV Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and configuring audio-visual systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure audio-visual systems, including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and metal fabrication
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
  • Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems-related tasks
  • Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
  • Projector and screen support structure installations
  • Test point-to-point functionality of systems
  • Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capability
  • Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
  • Provide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project Manager
  • Perform client training as needed
  • Customer liaison in absence of Project Manager
  • Responsible for job documentation as needed
  • Demonstrate job site leadership
  • Travel to various job sites required (must have dependable transportation)
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
