We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Driving Algorithm Engineer in the field of Situational Awareness Feature (SAF) to join our dynamic team. As Algorithm Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Situational Awareness algorithms. This position requires team player attitude to act as individual contributor to both hands-on traditional algorithm development and lead research initiatives in cutting-edge SAF methodologies.

Your Role

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our intellectual property portfolio by submitting patents for innovative technologies and solutions. In your daily job you will:

Contribute to the design and development of complex software applications, algorithms, and data models to enhance Situational Awareness capabilities of our safety critical system(s).
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry trends related to SAF.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technical fellows, feature owners and product managers to ensure effective integration of Situational Awareness solutions into AD / ADAS systems.
Lead the evaluation, testing, and validation of SAF modules to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions to improve system functionality and performance.
Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical / Computer / Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or closely related field.
2-year development experience (industrial / academic) using C / C++ / Matlab Simulink
2-year experience (industrial / academic) in developing automotive / robotic embedded software applications.
1-year experience in designing controls, sensor fusion or situation analysis algorithms.
1 year experience in Agile Software Development and Tools like Jira, DOORS / Polarion, and GIT/Gerrit.
1 year experience of developing, designing, and debugging CAN and Ethernet gateway communication.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in developing safety critical applications adhering to ISO-26262, DO-178B or IEC-61508 standards.
A working level understanding of AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive Platform software architectures
Prior experience working in either an ASPICE or CMMI compliant engineering development process.
