Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying machine learning solutions across our enterprise application and data landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data science solutions using Google Cloud.
  • Develop and manage data integration platforms using Python.
  • Leverage expertise in MySQL, Postgres, Kafka, Parquet files, BigQuery, and Iceberg.
  • Research, implement, and transition ML algorithms and tools from proof-of-concept to production-ready solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks.
  • Select and apply appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
  • Optimize data science prototypes/solutions for speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Utilize GitHub and GitLab for version control and collaboration.
  • Test platform stacks for performance and efficiency.
  • Command strong skills in Linux for command line operations.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to identify and address gaps and structural challenges.
  • Present findings and discuss project outcomes with business units.
  • Analyze, extract, and optimize information from large datasets to drive business decisions on product features and operational efficiency.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL is essential.

Competencies

  • 10+ years of experience with Python.
  • Strong data management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of statistics and practical implementations of computational statistics.
  • Expertise in predictive modeling and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in reporting and data visualization techniques.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field.
