About the Role

Gabletek is seeking a highly skilled Simulation Engineer - Robotics and Automation to join our team. As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing simulation models for robotic and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Simulation Model Development
    • Develop detailed simulation models of robotic and automation systems using Siemens Process Simulate (PS) and other relevant software.
    • Configure Robot Controller Simulation (RCS) in the simulation software to validate solutions and processes.
  • Robot Program Development
    • Develop robot programs using teach pendant of major robot brands, including ABB, Fanuc, and Kawasaki.
    • Download complete offline robot programs and configure RCS in the simulation software.
  • Validation and Optimization
    • Validate solutions and processes with detailed simulation, including cycle time validation and optimization.
    • Optimize weld distribution to improve cycle time and generate precise evaluations of cycle time through detailed cycle simulation.
  • Robot Safety and Ergonomics
    • Generate robot safety configurations to ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with the Virtual Commissioning team during debug phase and support site team during commissioning phase.
    • Provide customer support and specification analysis, including design reviews with customers and project teams.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
    • Develop technical documentation and maintain industrial processes and robotic applications for automation projects.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with the team and continuously improve skills and working methods.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Manufacturing Engineering or related field/work experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong skills with Siemens Process Simulate (PS) and other relevant software.
    • Proficient in MS Office / Google Suite applications.
    • Strong skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD).
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
