We are looking for a Seed Site Logistics Administrative Assistant to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Lubbock, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Seed Production facility. Your main focus will be to assist various groups with procurement, safety, and site management needs, as identified by site managers. Additionally, your familiarity with the site's policies, procedures, and necessary computer applications will be essential for success in this role.

During your work as a Seed Site Logistics Admin, you will

  • Monitor incoming/outgoing mail and phone calls of site operation.
  • Provide support in generating reports related to transactional accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with Government, Regulatory, QMS, (Bio) Safety, and Stewardship guidelines.
  • Adhere to BASF programs in environmental, safety, process safety, and industrial hygiene to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of site procedures.
  • Process invoices using SAP P2P processes, maintaining accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain records, documents, and procedures as needed.

If you...

  • Have a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have minimum 5 years of administrative or related experience.
  • Have strong knowledge and experience with SAP, data management and familiarity with databases.
  • Are able to manage daily office functions and to function well with short timelines and multiple activities.
  • Possess demonstrated experience and competency handling confidential information.
  • Have broad experience working with all levels in a matrix global organization.
  • Posses knowledge in procurement and experience with purchase orders (preferred).
  • Are willing to work some weekends.
