As a Seeds Site Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient storage of bulk, unprocessed cotton seed, ensuring adherence to proper loading and unloading protocols for bulk materials, as well as maintaining the integrity of products throughout all warehouse processes.  In addition, your duties will involve conducting equipment and facility maintenance and repairs, as well as executing assigned projects under the guidance of Fuzzy Warehouse Site management.

During your shift as a Site Logistics Technician, you will
  • Manage warehouse operations by adhering to BASF EHS and site management's safety rules, regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), as well as ensuring good housekeeping practices.
  • Receive and unload transport trucks while maximizing warehouse space and adhering to the site's storage plan, as well as accurately loading and shipping transport trucks based on processing plans.
  • Deliver fuzzy seed to plant using company owned combination vehicles.
  • Collaborate with the site manager and other site supervisors to actively participate in the BASF Stewardship program.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Government, Regulatory, QMS, (Bio) Safety, and Stewardship guidelines for complete compliance.
  • Use heavy equipment to push up/stack bulk commodities in warehouse.
  • Perform general repairs on onsite equipment and buildings during the season, as well as conduct maintenance activities during the off-season.
If you...
  • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse/inventory control, quality control or related experience such as farming and/or manufacturing work.
  • Have or can obtain Class A CDL driver’s license.
  • Have a strong Safety Culture background, coupled with working knowledge of Federal DOT regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with site-level manufacturing/warehouse personnel and business management.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office and basic computer proficiency.
  • Possess a valid forklift certification for the operation of heavy equipment in a bulk warehouse environment.
  • Can wear a respirator (required).
