In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our legacy Injectable Finished Products (IFP) facility in Clayton, NC is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. Relationships Reports to Shift Manager. Essential FunctionsAct as an aseptic process advocate, working with the AP team to identify aseptic process improvements & provide technical support for aseptic improvement projectsPartner with shop floor personnel to gather input on process improvements while driving ownership of aseptic practices down to the shop floorServe as coach & mentor for AP team members related to aseptic technique, behavior & mindset by:Visualizing/tracking events & actionsConfirming Operators understand & follow aseptic processes andVerifying that solutions work & are shared across shiftExecute process confirmation of aseptic operation approaches & behaviors used on shift & work with team to find ideas to proactively improve quality & complianceResolve/elevate issues related to aseptic behavior, processes & production environmentImplement aseptic process improvementsAudit & monitor aseptic techniques & programs on the production floor to ensure complianceSupport & own aseptic process-related deviations by providing technical supportFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther accountabilities, as assigned Physical Requirements May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree in Engineering or a related field of study from an accredited university preferredMinimum of two (2) years of Aseptic Processing experience requiredMinimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferredExperience using LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies & achieving sustainable process improvements a plusAbility to communicate technical information clearly in writing & presentations a plusDemonstrates knowledge of adult learning methodologies & is able to use multiple methods to train & coach others a plusComputer expertise in the following applications: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & SAP a plus We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
