This is an opportunity to be the 1st NYC-based property management employee for a rapidly growing and well capitalized real estate services organization. To start, you will be working on a portfolio of retail and office properties for a high-profile client.

Job Description / Responsibilities / Tasks:


• Leads, provides direction, and supports building staff


• Builds strong working relationships with our clients, tenants, and vendor partners


• Promptly resolves tenant related issues and champions our Tenant Relations Program


• Prepares and delivers timely and accurate financial reporting, including annual budgets, CAM reconciliations, monthly performance reports with variances, etc.


• Ensures our Risk Management policies are met


• Oversees Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable process


• Performs property inspections and proactively provides ideas for building and operational improvements for the property


• Bids, contracts, and supervises vendor services


• Oversees Lease Administration for assigned properties


• If directed, you may assist in marketing and leasing the property, including tours, lease negotiations


• Performs construction management for Capital Improvement and Tenant Improvement projects


• Generally, to oversee the operational strategy and financial performance of the property and represent the firm in a professional manner

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


• 5+ years experience in property management with a demonstrated history of leading successful property teams, preferably with Retail experience


• Must have their Real Estate License or be able to obtain within 90 days


• Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines


• Must be a self-starter with strong decision making skills


• Strong attention to detail


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting
