Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $ $92200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the general accounting function for the Travel and Hospitality subsidiary, ensuring accurate and timely completion of major projects, month-end, and year-end reports
  • Ensure all accounting processes align with GAAP, implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy and understandability of financial information
  • Maintain accurate financial records, support year-end financial audits and annual corporate financial controls audits, and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
  • Coordinate with auditors for timely closing and reporting, manage statutory, internal, and external audit requests, and evaluate and improve department controls, systems, and procedures
  • Assist other departments with financial strategies, and perform ad hoc analyses and projects
  • Manage a team of general ledger staff and senior accounting, promoting professional development through various growth opportunities such as department rotations and special projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; professional certifications such as CPA or MBA are strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory or management role
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statements is required, experience with audit is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as experience with other financial systems such as Blackline, Workday, and OneStream
  • Experience with business analytics platforms such as Alteryx, Power Automate, Tableau is preferred
