The Role/Responsibilities:

  • As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • Execute and maintain the automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Document and/or review testing results working closely with developers and product owners to resolve reported issues.
  • Help define, collect, and present QA metrics to ensure that our QA process is as healthy and efficient as possible.
  • Participate in Agile events (daily stand ups, sprint planning, grooming, and sprint retrospectives)
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing & implementing automation testing frameworks and methodology to support agile product development
  • 3-5 years in developing automated test cases in at least on high-level programming language.
  • 2 years of SDET/CI/CD/test automation experience.
  • 1 year experience writing automation using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Ability to work in an Agile team environment and handle changing priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate with and present to engineers, senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience with Application performance tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) a plus.
  • Good database skills.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$86,500]] to [[$119,350]], depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a Full time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
